Today is Saturday, July 1st.
Monday will be 4 weeks since Cathy passed away.
What a loss.
I miss her so very much.
I miss so much of her and so much about her.
I am her cousin/sister.
We lived together for the past 6 years.
What a gift that was for me.
She taught me so much about life and what really matters.
I can not ever thank her enough.
She was a very special lady.
It is so very sad not having her around to laugh or talk with.
Sometimes, I still think she will be here when I come home and open the door.
But she isn’t.
Her presence is though, and always will be.
I am grateful for that.
I have nothing that I never told her, nor any regrets.
We lived our lives to the fullest.
We used to joke about how we couldn’t be more opposite, but yet our lives intertwined so well.
Maybe that is why or maybe they did because of the wonderful human being that she was.
I doubt Cathy ever knew how many lives she touched.
I hope she knew she touched mine.
Although it is so hard for all of us she left behind, I am glad she can finally dance each and every day.
